Ummm... Pink haired Prince's master was the ones imprisoning the shadows....?... But when macaroni(shadow) n FL (shadow) when they 1st meet they were able to recognize/sense each other but they couldn't sense/recognize the 5th prince (shadow)...?... Ummmm...?....
