@Edmalyn Tenio No he's not, in the novel it's stated more than once that the Emperor only care about himself and power. Even in the manwha he said himself he doesn't care about his children (minus his mistress's son), he just hate Rezef more because he's a bas****.

In the novel if I remember right, he wanted Cayena's power to become immortal and keep the throne to himself, even if she had to die. But the manwha doesn't really follow the novel anymore, so it probably won't be the same
