I only watched anime or read mangas that mc are hiding a b*tch but how did i like the bold and confidence type mc. Maybe this type of mc is really the worst(based on my experience). What's the point in hiding anyway when you know you can take them or eventually reveal it to them. Being known strong actually has benefits although there are few disadvantages; you will be respected, others look up to you and aspiring to be like you(ofc better if you're a good person so fans will also become good), the only disadvantages are enemy or ppl who are envy of your talents but you can also use that weakness of them to crush them. While on the other hand a hiding type b*tch most disrespect you it can either be your enemies or possible allies that misunderstood you because you act weak causing to harm them or possibly both of you MEHH~, since no one respects you when times if you want to say something they could just insult you or interrupt you while you're still explaining causing ofc to clash(another worst disadvantage), then those you beat will be your enemies and those crybaby defeated enemy will call help adding more enemies then this continues to increase your enemies worst the more you have enemies the more you'll they make things difficult for you they may even hurt those who close to you.. while on the other hand the fewer your enemies the easier beat them lessening casualties
@Harem Lover you may have forgot but he's also hiding from the person who killed Sylvia, if he finds out about the baby dragon and the beast will that person will come to kill him. And that person (most likely a group) are also able to kill a legendary fully grown dragon so who knows how strong they are.

@Harem Lover i know many people tend to shut off their brain while reading but man reading ur comments not only this one but the one u wrote before i think u show pay more attention (i wanted to say something but don't wanna be offensive) the reason he is hiding his actual strength is he don't wanna give lukas a reason to suspect him of being note and he wants to focus on building his strength and becoming more efficient in using his weaker attributes. They have made this clear man
Tho i do agree with i on the point that some time seeing a mc hiding his power for no reason feels very frustrating but for this one i will disagree cuz he has a valid reason to do so and even with him hiding his real abilities he is still op
