His older brother was the one that blinded him. And he later has plans to kill the MC because she witnessed the attempted murder of Lucas (younger brother? i think). and so the ML send her away but there was problems w that.
They meet again 5 years later. Violet married someone else because her father found out he was blind. Lucas gave his eyes to the ML, so now he can see but doesnt recognize her but soon does after some stuff happens.

@Manhwa lover what i mean is FL who doean't believe she can be loved, the ML who hates himself, lies and misunderstandings...do i need to continue?))
@Alisa Dmitrieva it is cliche but this one is valid given to their circumstances , fl is not poor girl with goddess face and features , ml isnt hating himself bcs of family curses but real situation that he is blind, if fl has violet's face then this is totally cliche
