Guys, an apology doesn't make up for the fact that he hareased and assaulted maythan. Just because his backstory is extremely sad, and him and his mother went through awful things, doesn't mean he should get away with a slap on the wrist.
i'm gonna point out this is every problematic trope found in villanesse stories or whatnot where the ml guy has rapey vibes or does something really bad to mc, but his backstory is revealed later that is supposed to "excuse" his behaviour, plus he's drawn handsomely, creates this air that it wasn't really his fault or lessens his actions somehow in the eyes of mc, and in a good amount of the readers eyes too.
guys don't be too quick to forgive and remember that if something is off from the beginning, better listen to intuition
