Yeah no, I hate it. I hate him.
I get the whole "while trying to survive not having the nicest personality" really, I get that. But his home life and his school life are not the same environment. If he would have just a shi*** personality because of his trauma/abuse that would be the one thing but he straight up bullies others. And I hate that.
Don't harm others and than excuse it with 'I have trauma' because there are a lot of people with trauma out there not traumatizing others. I hate how Mc just does not cares for the bullying and tries to help that guy.
Maybe I'm being petty as someone who got bullied/ has trauma because I would never help him. Not with the way he is right now. Because right now: he is not better than his father. Abusing his power to hurt the ones that are smaller than him.
I hate this and the only reason I continue this is because I hope for character development. Maybe after getting help he will realize what kind of bullshit he did. (If they do not go back to the whole bully stuff than I just wanted my time and this will be a big disappointment)

Okay but this kinda feels close minded. Ofcourse it's wrong for him to bully others but if his life became better he would probably stop. People always act out insecurities on others from the Inside or the outside wich is normal. The biggest bast**** are that redhead and that apology of a father. Life is probably pretty dull for blonde so it's hard to have sympathy. You have to understand the character before you can say you hate him. Ofcourse it's just an excuse to say that it's because of trauma but I promise you there will be character development in both mc and ml. Ofcourse people would turn out funked up if they're parents treat them like garbage and beat them up. It would be unrealistic if he was the kindest person on earth

@Loser You seem to have miss a point, not once since this book started has Heechan laid his hand on the bullied kid. He hangs out with the bullies, smokes and likely drinks, but none of his actions have hurt anyone. Basically, to me, he's also a bystander. If anyone is to be hated here, it's the other dude who's messed up.
