for all of the people confused, she's saying she hates him because he works so hard for her, and doesn't focus on himself. She also says she might not be able to continue drawing for reasons such as it might be too expensive, or she needs to focus on school. You can see this in the earlier chapters where her parents talk about this and he overhears.
