I do agree that the mc is naive but all of u are reading this and obv dont know what its like in his place.First of all risky payed him alot and that gave his brother a warm meal and then when our mc asked risky for money he gave it to him and still continued to give and protect him, so if ur a normal person with ur life looking like this ofc u wount be thinking "oh hes so suspicious!" "oh hes such a bad guy!" like no??Ofc u will think of him as ur saviour.That is manipulating and as u know this blondie was searching for our mc and risky gaslighted our mc and got him to stab blondie and that is bad and all of u are mad at him for that but thats why its called manipulation he didnt even know bro
