Why does the music industry always wanna go younger and younger? A couple of years ago 23 was the most normal debut age but nowadays its like 6 year olds debuting? Genuinely curious!!
@Bubbadubba okay before anything I would like to say I am not a professional on this matter and what I'm typing next is purely from my observation, and speculation so don't go all 'how dare you spread false information' on me
I think when recruiting a trainee it would better if they were younger because you could train them early, it okay if you're 23 but have been professionally trained, it mainly because they don't really want to put their resources on the older people cause, well there are younger and more talented people they could invest in for longer term profit
Let say being an idol, most would probably retire or become too 'old' by the age of 35, most people would like younger and more attractive idol, so they would try to debut younger people like 17-18 instead of 22-23
This isn't always the case though but it is most of the time, like even BTS Jin the oldest member of BTS is only 20 at the time of debut
