@Manga Anime I completely agree that this is a fan servicey manga but I'm not arguing from the point of someone who likes fan service I'm arguing from the point of someone who likes romance. This chapter is a culmination of their first romantic arc the climax if you will, but by you saying that it's smutty you're invalidating that. While I understand that it's not to your taste, it's still supposed to be a scene of love. Your invalidation is what probably spurred the negative reactions and most definitely spurred my replies. You are completely entitled to your opinion but I ask that you appreciate the chapter for what it is a moment of mutual understanding of their love for each other

Reminder that criticising a thing that you like isn't the same thing as criticising your personal taste, I did not find this chapter romantic even if I do like the main couple together; in the same way a dish can be too spicy or not spicy enough depending on the person who eats it, I found this development between them very forced and the gratuitous sexualisation of the characters offputting to point where I couldn't ignore it for the sake of the story.
That doesn't mean you're not right to like it and feel it was romantic! But me saying 'I didn't like how this was written/this was too smutty' is not invalidating of your right to feel the opposite way. Your demand that I validate a section of the manga that wasn't to my taste and that I feel could've been done better if it hadn't had so much focus on this element isn't something I'm willing to accede to at all. You claim you understand I have a right to my own taste and then demand that I praise the scenes I didn't like and found exceeded my tolerance levels for fanservice just because the couple got finally together during those scenes. What the heck! Please leave me alone now.
