Tha The contents of the story, i.e. the next chapters, are a curse on Zhang Li What I mean is that he lives in a vortex between the past and the present, like the Bermuda Triangle This is the only explanation for why Mimi remembers him because Zhang Li moved to the past after Mimi the statue died and lived the same experience and somehow returned to the present and turned Mimi into a statue. Thus, he lives in this vortex, but he does not remember anything when he returns to the present, as if he was born again... This is my view, I don't know if it is convincing to you
