It is really the end. I came back from BATO and it was clearly labeled. It's been a few chapters that I felt we would soon reach the conclusion. Reaching the end of a book always leaves me with a sense of nostalgia because it's like saying farewell to a dear friend.
I liked this story very very much. Indeed the middle part about Life 1 was hard to read but it was necessary to comprehend the course of events in the first part, and link things together. The tone, the pacing, the character building, the intelligent and meaningful interactions between the two main characters was so realistic and relatable that one would almost forget the story was set in Omegaverse. The really remarkable feature that Omegaverse brought to the story was the bonding. And then there was Regression that was made worthwhile thanks to the bonding. Many readers cursed the bonding, but without this occurence, there would have been no Life 2, and even less New Sejin. Indeed, Papa Eagle Ido did a wonderful job because Sejin ended up spreading his wings beautifully. I think many would question the analogy but I couldn't help coming up with the reference throughout my reading. Will explain the eagle thing another time for those who do not know. Eagles are really amazing birds, aside from having outstanding form.
