Thats not a cresent kick, thats a teep.
cresent kicks curve similar to a round kick and are supposed to be used in ultra close range (clinch) to reach the head around the guard. since your hips dont need to align they can be thrown from a short range. dont use cresent kicks against a knife, but teeps can work cause they force distance, she appears to do a front teep here, but a side teep (see tawanchai) is better since that's the longest possible push kick a person can do.
(ps: there are inside and outside cresent kicks, any kick that is thrown without the hips turned over is a cresent kick, for clinch use outside cresent kick, but inside cresent kick while lacking power is a good fient off a low kick)
