Okay. So after this first chapter I have picked up on a few things so it's time to play the (almost certainly 100% wrong) prediction game!!
Spoiler just incase my 100% wrong prediction curse is broken. See y'all at the final chapter.
The Princess has been allowed to live without being killed by the 2nd Queen, and even this "assassination" mission isn't that as Penny wasn't actually told to kill the Princess, only find the ring. My gut is telling me that the 2nd Queen doesn't actually hate or want the Princess dead. Maybe the rebellion was revenge or something for her son (seemed weird that the 2nd Queens secret agent didn't know about her son, so guessing he is dead... Oooooh, maybe even killed by the Princess's mother. That would be interesting). Also, the 1st Queen seemed weird in that dream, so my (new as of typing this) prediction is that it is a bait and switch. The 2nd Queen isn't really a "bad guy" and the 1st Queen was actually evil and/or power hungry enough to kill the Prince.
Well, we'll see how things go
