@sh** pumpkin because Japanese now start using manhwa/weebtoon format now. It's easier to read on phone compare to manga format. There already a few manga artists start using this format. It's not like format belong solely to korea or china. Yeah japan killed a lot of people in asia during WW2 including china,korea and malaysi
