Why is the author trying so hard to make Tay like ilay. Ilay sexually_ harassed Tay back in the unhdro and made everyone hate him, he's a murderer and psychopath, he constantly rapes_ Tay and is trying to manipulate him. He banged Tays crush despite knowing how that would hurt him. He's a pos, but the author keeps making Tay think about ilay as if the worst he's done is scam someone out of money. "I definitely hate some parts of ilay" most victims would hate their abusers in general no matter what good they've done???(Ilay hasn't done anything good btw). Like stolkholm syndrome is one thing but they make it seem like Tay genuinely likes ilay, and we don't even see Tay hate ilay in the first place, so it doesn't feel like stolkholm syndrome. It doesn't matter how much of a people person Tay is, why would he like someone who constantly disregards his feelings and causes him immense pain.
Also since I'm on the topic, how come after every time ilay does something, Tay isn't disgusted or scared around ilay. Ik he is and shown to be sometimes but a majority of the time Tay just looks at him and acts like ilay just popped his ball. And we barely get to see him be affected by the trauma besides when he has flashbacks abt the "youre mine" thing 💔 it's like a joke, like ilay played a mean prank now Tay is salty. It's so annoying
