@Tyrus manga that are written in SK and China are still generally accepted as manga by the community x.O; it's the platform difference between webtoons and manga that are the biggest outlier, and japanese companies are starting to make manwha-styled webtoons now as well, due to the recent surge in popularity of Solo Leveling *shudders* You DID point out a big differential point though

Manga are always read right to left unless they are chinese :p

well yeah, except for the reading direction and minor noticeable differences in the over all artstyle, in the end there's not much difference^^ I got my hands on a manhwa book for the first time in 2006 or 2007, I was really confused why that "manga" was left to right until I figured out the difference xD

I'd just wish, no matter from which country, they'd put a little more of the effort they put into manga/manhwa/manhua into webtoons as well. but well, the whole webtoon model is hella buggy to begin with :P
