I'm actually so mad, why did we wait 100s of chapters just for him to break through to 5th rank. Where is the payoff? I swear sometimes, as much as I love this story, the author ticks me right the he'll off

@DarkNat720 a story is only good if there is struggle for the main character. Winning and losing along with struggling os what makes a story good.
If he had only been winning all the time, there would be nothing to enjoy in a story. You would always know that no matter what, the mc will win. This is not something which makes a great series.
Why do you think aot is so great. Cuz character die, mc struggles and has a strong will.
If you want a mc who only wins all the time and has no struggle and purely aura farms, go read something as shallow as solo leveling
