People who get that hyper aggressive and overly defensive about a comment not even aimed at them to that degree. Are usually deep in the closet but rather than be honest with their emotions resort to projecting their self hatred onto others.
Well either that or they feel their closet họmoṣęxuality is a threat to their masculinity and react with anger and aggression.
Really sad if you think about it.
