@Yww no hun. Both don't make sense because you don't lose practice from cooking. It's like riding a bike or singing or painting. If you have it, you have it. 
It's not like a language or something you can forget without constant practice. 

Especially when she's already that good at it. 

I stopped cooking for 3 years when I had my child and once I got back to work it was as if I never left.

@Pearl girl I literally hadn't rode a bike and roller skaters for 5 years now and now i cant even stand on them properly, like yeah sure I know the basics but it still takes time to get back on it again.. what I'm saying is, practice makes perfect. And taking a break for a while makes you a bit duller.
Ask anybody in this world and they'll agree (xcept u 💀)
My brother, who's also a chef would answer agree. He used to make French omelet daily but stopped for a month (when we left for the summer vaca) when he tried again after coming back, he failed at making it, but used to it again after a few days 🤷♀️
