it's her fault, she didn't learn to know her marry and prefer to trust a stupid "prophecy" let's think the prophecy is real, knowing the prophecy was part of history so it's bound to happen. (unless she read all the story and twist and turn all the story but we just know she read that her marry will kill her child...) she distanced herself from him, and ghosted her relationship, any man would have thought that she has something more important things to do or she lost her mind. And she probably lost her mind because you can't truth that you can see the futur and change it.. Otherwise you can't see the futur because you altered it. this kind of story is illogical.

Well she was a priestess or a mage and you're saying she shouldn't trust her "prophecies" I think she did the right thing, seeing your husband killing your child is traumatic and it's not like she didn't trust anybody she told Leona and the other guy. She didn't tell her husband because she knew him well enough not to believe her..and guess what after Ashtarte's birth she get casted aside and the so called husband couldn't do anything, if he really loved her he would have fought for her which he didn't..So it's safe to say he didn't fight for his Family and he should stop playing the victim

But yeah if u leave the relationship between husband and wife ...the emperor should have taken care of ashtarte but he didn't..i mean every child needs their parents ...so i still hate the emperor..

Treating their child this way and calling her darkness or whatever ..and keeping distance ..lol ..

I mean didn't you read the part that she said she cannot tell her husband because he'll require prove. Which means even if she talked it out still he would not believe her

she has nothing to say, nor to prove, she can just act in the shadow, and if she can really see the futur, she can see the cause, and the cause is surely not the king. We can if you want, sum it up, to that she chose the "easy way". but in the prophecy we can imagine that the king truted the evil head priest, and because she is a woman and have nothing in her head(yeah i said it like that on purpose) she couldn't think of good argument to prevent the death of her child while the priest uses bullshit argument about religion, So we can also say that the king is nothing in the face of religion
