@MOZ i mean, other than fighting random monsters or some almighty g**. I think overcoming yourselves is a better choice. Can't think of anything new.
You can also complain about the game system being used a million times, or the over power MC being reset and come back tropes. We can always complain, that is easy, but thinking of new ideas is hard. Plenty of new ideas have been ignored because readers don't find them interesting, so most author will have to stick to what is popular which leads to repetition of popular tropes and ideas like game system.
