@Angi Minho was an alcoholic because of his kidnapper.
Read the main story.
Minho has got a really bad temper and was poor. Minho's mother left his family because of Minho's father (a violent farmer, alcoholic) : Minho's father beat his wife, Minho's eldest sister and Minho. Minho's mother left Minho alone with his father and his father's parents.
Minho was a good student and wanted to become a writer. He met Doona who wanted to become a writer and was more talentuous than him. Same litterature club. Then came Wookyung. The blonde man in the BL SideStory. First, Wookyung's target was Doona, Minho's girlfriend. Because of Minho's horrible temper, it was easy for Wookyung to learn BDSM to Doona. Doona cuckolded Minho. She won a prize for her first novel... about Minho (it's not written in the main story. The author precise this later). Minho cried (jealousy) and Wookyung became obsessed by Minho.
7 years.
In the main story, Minho is teaching litterature in university. Always his bad temper. But Doona and Wookyung come back. They r@pe him multiple times. Wookyung's traps and Minho's obsession for Doona. Wookyung manages to make Minho to resign. Minho has got PTSD. He began to drink, to go alone in his favorite bar, to spend a lot of money. A descent into he** caused by Wookyung who was Minho's girlfriend's ex : Doona. Doona herself was very violent with Minho because Wookyung taught her how to be a dom.
And since Doona just abandoned Minho, in a horrible scene, Minho is coming to Wookyung instead of committing suicide. But at the end of the main story, he hesitated to throw himself off a bridge.

@Postman      Oohhh, alright, I am sorry, I didn't read the main story (only the first two chapters so far). 
Tho that doesn't change my point which was that Wookyung has Bpd, I am not saying that it's Minho's fault or anything and I am not saying that he's suffering any less than Wookyung ofc
