Okay Chris is getting annoying for me because of multiple reasons. The story of the plot is basically the reincarnation of the demon lord through the MC. He is a dryad and is supposed to have only one partner. But looks like the author wants to either choose harem for male dryads.
Here is why Chris is getting annoying to me:
She is decades older than the mc. Even if the mentality of the MC is of an adult. HE IS STILL A CHILD AND SHOWS CHILD TENDENCIES.
She is being somewhat selfish with her feelings even tho she is aware. It very obvious that she is aware that the mc hold her in high regard, even tho the feelings from mc doesn't really look romantic more like an older brother, a BOY wanting to protect his FRIEND.
CHRIS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT COULD GO SO MUCH BETTER AND DEEPER.
Chris should off take Dillan approach more tbh. It's more APPROPRIATE. Example Dillan clearly placed a line between subject and friends and he can be both BUT KEEPS ITS PROFESSIONAL WHEN NEEDED. CHRIS STOPPED BEING PROFESSIONAL A LONG TIME AGO AND KEEPS CROSSING LINES WHTHER ITS UNINTENTIONAL OR NOT.
Overall my rating for her character is a solid 7 out of 10. She is the fan service for second romance lead (I wish it wasn't but it's clear w the implications of the storyline) her character development is a 3 out of 10. There is no development for herself it's developing feelings for mc and it's not the same. also I find it disturbing, how she became aware of her feelings when the mc turned 11. And compares him to an adult in some cases.
