There is no point fixing anything, Heiner. You lost her when she was so desperate to take her own life. Or even before that. You hated her for not knowing how the outside world was, and how she loved comfortably with her parents not knowing how her father really was. The one at fault was you and your way of thinking. While Annette loved you alot, you just ignored her and acted your way while torturing her mentally, saying it was all her fault. And after the divorce, now you are the one fantasying about her. After divorce, Annette took everything in, whether it be hate towards her form the whole country, or your betrayal or her M!sscarrige, she decided to not end here life and live calmly while doing what she hasn't like a normal person and not like a princess. While you, you are still hung up upon her, not knowing what the fck you want, and not letting her live the way she wants. You made her come to the rear after finding out she volunteered for the nursing staff, while completely knowing she was happy working at the front. She was healing there. Form the start, you were the one who treated her like an object. And because of the way you treated her in the public and at home too, made the people think that they can do whatever they want with her, and that is why she was shot, that too in a public place. You made her criminal for the crimes she didn't even commit or knew. Because of you twisted feelings about her, you indirectly allowed everyone around her to hate her and think low of her. You were the one who said you'd ruin her, but when you completely ruined her, you feel regret and guilty. In this case, it doesn't matter what youve gone through, your past don't give you a reason to treat her like nothing nor it gives you a right to make an excuse. You don't deserve her forgiveness.
