Well I jumped from chap 1 to 61 to see if he went back to male but did not so at least i didn't waste any time. Not into gender bender. Start off a girl, stay a girl and vice versa, I don't even mind gay lesbian but not this. All good, just not my flavor. Must've missed the GB label at start.

Did it have any impact on the story?
Does his behaviour is affected?
Are their moments where he act like a girl even though he is a boy?
No. Never. It only serve to add a plot line with the stars. If GB make no difference, what is your problem with it?
Also be careful with your checking method. In vampire and Knight, the protagonist actually switch between a vampire princess, a male knight and recently a female knight. If you are seeing him on a chapter he is a boy, would you read? It's infinitly worst GB than here.
It too sad, you are missing great story like Tensei shitara slime that is a great story. It is the same kind of gender bent as here and I don't see people complaining.

lol same position but for me , fu^k this GB sh%t , let the people relate to their d*ck being cut off and start as a woman getting laid to read this. story would have been good if they started off with female character right off the bat but for this sh%t to go like that what kind of message this trying to tell ?
"if people hate you as a man be a woman ?" is that the message ? or "if you wana get new powers be a woman or ho** or she**** or anything with pus" whata let down it would be better if i started to read this from the 4th chapter or so to get these da** thoughts out of my brain.

@JO there's literally no message. Every thing doesn't need to have an agenda. Your both reading way to deep into it.
@JO The change in apperance is a plot device here to help him start off with a clean slate
