@Lil demon i think it will be the cliche cold father turning 180 to hia daughter will happen later. Where he will soften up later since his daighter will either use emotional manipulation or she will achieve great things that the father will have pride on his daughter thus him having favoritism.
Though i kind of prefer her just leaving/escaping that horrible household, but there is a big chance that she changes everyone there to be less violent or something through acting cute or doing favors.
