I'm gonna call, y'all can hate but why the he** are we glorifying someone that is unbearable to deal with, bad temper that purposely say thrash to ppl for some attention. I get it, her backstory is sad and no one deserves such treatment but then she is now giving out the treatment. Girl should focus on loving herself and being confident than constantly indulging herself in self hate all the time.
And honestly there is nth like a "valid crash out" if my half sister poisoned my sister cause she felt like it. Wtffff

That's because, as readers, we ACTUALLY know why she behaves like that, and it's just frustrating to see how she's been treated from the very beginning. She was born; that wasn't her fault. She didn't ask to be an illegitimate child, nor did she ask to be bullied. They treated her terribly, and she turned this way only becuase, in that situation, it's a defense mechanism for her. Can't you see she's just trying to SURVIVE?

And about that poisoning thing, did you forget how the twins treated her in childhood? They started it clearly.

@Funotic_reader Even so, she shouldn't weaponize her trauma against those who are innocent. Treating her half-siblings poorly is one thing, but the hate she directs at her own little brother is the same venom that was once directed at her. She’s inflicting the same pain that broke her onto him, simply because he was born lucky, but he had no choice in the matter. I like the MC, but she's starting to overdo it lately  and i also don't believe the ML's feelings were empty for the MC throughout those seven years. Both are moving toward marriage, and it’s obvious where things are going.

@Rww You are absolutely right, I'm not justifying her actions, I was just telling why readers are resonating with her. And as for weaponizing her trauma, I actually don't see INNOCENT people here. Treating a child like a thing and then expecting them to be good isn't something that happens. They scared her heart when she was just a bud. So, it's kinda sad seeing how she turned and yahh her brother is innocent. Think from her pov, he got everything, and more, she's been fighting her whole life, but never succeeded. She's naturally jealous of him, but yess she's harsh on him, and i have a feeling that she doesn't actually hate him.
@Funotic_reader That’s exactly it! It’s like you expressed my own thoughts through your commentary. I guess I’m one of those readers who really resonates with her. And if I understood correctly, she had to find a solution to all that bullying on her own at the very beginning; her mother didn't even lift a finger to help. That alone shows how strong she is. Her behavior is realistic and exactly what you'd expect given the circumstances. I just hope that, at the very least, she manages to stay on good terms with her brother
