Id rather it that the author had her go back home now that the holy capitol goons should've cooled their heads after their F up. As her role is far too important to just being another side piece for the mc. But of course with less restrictions on her. Letting her have a more enjoyable life.

You were aware that the original oracle message was "Find the traitor, or the church will be destroyed." Sora is not needed as the Goddess doesn't mention him and Mia is the messenger and not involved with finding the traitor. The message I meant for the priests to find the traitor themselves and they partly failed in an almost bad end. So, they should deserve this ending as they need to learn from the choices they made.
Bringing Mia back would make this have a dead end as the opposition would say that the saint staged her death to bring down the pope party and ultimately bring the church down as a whole as it will split the party into a civil war. She will need to remain dead as the church suffered loss but it is still intact.
@Phyerboss oh yeah, her parents and village are going to think she's deceased now because of the church. Wonder if the author will address that.
