@Emili Lion I mean, the kids were literally slaves of the church, they must have seen a lot of bad people doing bad things 
Even in the og time-line the Saint was abused by one of the church knights 
I just hope they don't keep the misunderstanding for too long, bc it's really weird, even the way she is more mature and acts like a mother is a bit concerning, I wish she could be the kid she is without worrying about doing the chores and being useful
