Yes, often abuse victims cannot leave the abuser without help from an outside source. Abusers rely on different connections or power imbalances to keep their victims from running away. Considering how isolated he was, no matter how much he was hurt the fact that his abuser was all he had kept him there.
Anyone got any stories eith no romance but handsome/beautiful characters? I'm am out of things to read and all the romance is killing me.
