@sgrey eh that's usually how stories go that involves multiple myths. You have it all surrounding an outsider that sits on top. Because no matter what they do there is no right answer.  Because do you really expect Sun Wukong to take orders from Buddha???

You can havea dynamic where Wukong is conflicted and cause trouble because of it, but does what needs to be done when it counts. Anyway, I researched a little and Irina might be a dragon Tiamat.
