When FL finds out that Countess sent her mom away, she begs to go see her mom. The Countess was an evil b"tch and said if you want to see your mom, we can go there together since the Countess goes to the north to recuperate (she became too weak after giving birth and can't have any more children). This was also a chance that her father wanted as he wanted FL to meet ML as kids to form relationship since both were engaged. FL and ML meet for the first time. FL asks ML if there was a maid named Sienna (her mom's name). ML takes FL to go to the maid. He doesn't know Sienna's her mom yet. FL meets her mom and it's a happy moment, but we find out Sienna is being abused by ML's mom (Duchess) and she's hiding that from FL so she doesn't get sad. ML knows Sienna is getting abused by the Duchess and the Countess intentionally sent Sienna there knowing the Duchess would beat her.
