@STAN SKZ I honestly don't think it's that harsh. If it's what she said became true, that means he will cause the death of many. She already attempted to steer him away from this, but not only did he not listen, he caused a death that could of be avoided. (The spy's death) 

And if anyone caught wind of this and found out it was him, it could dishonor the family and the name. 

To be quite frank, it wasn't a harsh punishment since it could of been worse. (Death)
