I understand this whole arc is for Denji to find motivation to continue on..but for a year it feels like Denji didn't really move an inch. Ultimately he is indeed a dog, just happy in the moment and loyal to the one who gives him what he needs at the moment. Denji emotional growth is rightfully stunted and it makes sense, but its not fun to see it not expand, even if it makes sense.
