@Butt**** It basically ties them together. It normally forms when they are in their rut. (From what I have read so far, in BL's.) Knotting ensures that the sperm stays in the omega, in this case. After the rut/knotting, the Omega normally gets pregant a few weeks after/maybe a month, if they aren't paying attention to it. When you see those types of scene's, you can bet your a** you're about to see their little bundle of joy a few chapters down or in the extras.
