Comment on ChapterLove Jinx - Chapter 17
Am I the only one not liking Woojin? He has absolutely NO respect for blondie. He says no, and suddenly Woojin is deaf. He pushes him away and Woojin completely ignores it. Woojin is indirectly blackmailing him into doing what he wants.
Oh, and just because something feels good in the moment, does NOT mean you consent.
There's not a lick of consent in their "relationship".

@Gimmie_all_the_YAOI I'm like woojin he's a redflag but I act blind and ignores it,trollface sticker
@Gimmie_all_the_YAOI ngl i wont lie ur right 😭😭 like no matter how silly he wants to play off his actions it's weird af ng
@Gimmie_all_the_YAOI he also just seems like he lacks empathy. It'd be a little different if we sa that he'd had a crush on Haghyung before going to their house and then walking in at that moment but no hes just crazy
@Gimmie_all_the_YAOI Not only are you not supposed to agree with his actions/like his attitude (he's literally made to be a toxic love interest), but hes not REAL!
@Gimmie_all_the_YAOI  Although I understand what you mean about WOOJIN being toxic-- I think he's SUPPOSED to be a “yandere” or “sad***” archetype? If not yandere, he's definitely a sad*** type. Woojin laughs whenever MC is humiliated, in other words, he seems to like to see him in that position. He finds pleasure at the thought of MC in an awkward and humiliating position. Take the dinner incident with MCs family. He didn't even seem to care about outing him, or about the danger he could be causing by outing MC. (1/3)
So, that  part of him matches that in the description of a SAD***. He appears to ‘lack empathy’ as you said, and I think some sadists really do lack the ability to empathize. Because if they empathize, wouldn't it immediately become unpleasant to them? Another point:  They like to see people in pain/hurting Remember when MC strained his ankle/leg and he needed Woojins help? What did Woojin do? Humiliate him, pressure him into being “cute" so he'll help him instead of being a decent human lol. In conclusion, Woojin isn't just a "psycho", he's a sad*** for sure. (2/3)
(3/3) Don't get me wrong, I love a good sad***/possesive/obsessive male lead but this story is just way too disorganized and face-paced, and maybe it's cuz I'm used to fluffy teen/college romances, but I don't like how the author is doing the story. Like we barely got into the MC and the Male lead, but we already dipped our shoes into the side character stories? His sl**}}ty roommate 😐 and his weird ahh boyfriend? 💀and I'm still confused at that part like? I think imma just drop this one..I don't like the way the story is presented, the characters r starting off strange (barely have intriguing personality except for Woojin), and I don't feel the chemistry between any characters.. Probably weird to say but I like how interesting Woojin is. Even weirder to say I like him more than the MC. MC is kinda flat even if he isn't those weird stereotypical "bottoms" 🙄 i think I've just read too many good romances that my standards r kinda high, BL or not, but I can't believe anybody would like these characters. Anyways..
@Dumbdumbestdumber No, I get you. He is a tsundra (however you spell it), but those types of people are inherently toxic. That's why I called him a toxic love interest. Like, he's a toxic person, IN GENERAL, but he is a love interest. I've read fluffy stories in the past, from fanfics, to anime, to manga/manwha, but I've gotten bored of them. I can walk outside and see that happy relationship any time of the day, so I find it boring now. So, I resort to fiction to read what I don't normally see in public, because it's new and interesting. I wouldn't say it's rare, but compared to the fluffy stories and some that are just borderline boring with no drama, toxic tops (not just possessive) are not common, thus they're interesting!

Anyway, enough about me personal opinion, but the thing is is that, you're not supposed to read these toxic tops and ACTUALLY want them IRL. You're not supposed to support/agree with their actions IRL either. You're just supposed to be entertained by this psycho that will literally kill for his lover. That's why I can't stand when people are like, "UGH, I hate this main character because of how the author wrote them." Well, you're not supposed to actually like them. I mean, you can, but they're really made to be how they are to entertain. People like villains because they're entertaining. These toxic tops are no different. You're not supposed to actually like them as a person (unless you're just into toxic fictional characters, but you're able to distinguish fiction from reality). You're just supposed to like them because they're hot and entertaining.

(1/?)
@SplishSplash Also, yes, I also can't stand it when people come in the comments saying the obvious. "Blackmailing is bad." "He shouldn't yell at him." Yada Yada. Yes, I do believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but c'mon. It's fiction and we're all aware of how a relationship SHOULD be. Just because the author is writing him as a "blackmailer" or whatever, that doesn't mean that they support it. They're simply doing it for entertainment. And plus, he's hot. People like swooning over "bad boys" simply because they're hot. It's apart of the attraction. We don't want it IRL - no one does - but some of us do want it in FICTION!

At the end of the day, people will continue to complain about Woojins actions as if he's not purposely made to be toxic... And then they EXPECT him to change, as if he's a real person and not simply made to be entertaining... If I was the author, I would be so annoyed by comments like this. Like, yes, he's a bad guy, but he's a hot bad guy and I find him funny. Soooooo (2/2)
