rap is real music, wether you like it or not. dub, punk, metal, he** even pop listeners don't "stop at respectable hours" it just so happens that your neighbors listen to rap.
But if you lived next to a swiftie or something you'd hear music all night long as well. Also you clearly don't know ùuch about that genre if you believe most of the songs are about s**.
it's music, it has nothing to do with the people listening to it, i don't know if you realise how common drugs actually are. have you ever been to a club? the music isn't rap and yet you can't pretend there's no drugs getting passed around.
Some of the most clean people i know collect albums from artists like disiz, makala, wit., laylow.... once again, it's music, liking a sound doesn't make you smoke weed.
Conclusion: you're just pressed because there's some noise next door and you have no critical thinking to realise that, maybe, the music isn't at fault, so you generalise 1.85 billion people, or 26% of music listeners worldwide (based on the ifpi survey) and classify them as "depraved and lawless".
honestly, you just sound like a really boring little child that's in the rebellious phase and pretend not to like something they don't know because other people like it.
If you don't want to read about rap then why read music-themed books?
