@Ashley It's so funny you say that bc i just read that last friday after i got caught up with backlight😭
It instantly became my favorite BL manwha besides Shutline. Luke and Andrew have such great chemistry with eachother and I really like how they didn't glaze over the whole "Andrew beating the sh** out of Luke" thing and actually used it to delvelop his character and explain why he reacted that way.
Him being a child star that was being exploited by his dad as a means to get votes for the senate and drawing predators and stalkers towards him and thus making him paranoid and unable to trust others easily + him catching Luke quite literally following him around all day + his clothes going missing and then Luke showing up out of nowhere as his new roomate makes it pretty understandable as to why he would think Luke was a creep. It wasn't just mindless violence that was trying to be played off as funny, cough Stacey cough, it had actual weight behind it.
The art is definitely gorgeous like you said. The only thing I'd have to say about it is that I lowkey kind of miss the kind of goofier and more expressive facial expressions that were more prevalant in the beginning but its MORE than made up for with the huge style glow up😍
All in all a really really good series (Besides that absolutely despicable cliffhanger of a season finale😤)
