@Elfh Yeah, but the story says there's only one Divine Grade guide, so if he's it then is he supposed to heal himself??

whatever power he's had has been blocked (probably by the mom). When he awakens it, it'll be like an auto-heal. Then he can heal his friend too.

also, think about his spirit animal: white pony + divine grade = mythical white pony creature = unicorn. I know someone out this in a spoiler a while back but this chap def confirmed it.
