I feel like it was a very random time to introduce the backstory but I dont mind it cause I didn't really like how it just skipped how he went from making mouldy bread and being lvl 15 to creating lvl 9999 people and himself becoming lvl 9999

I don't think it was entirely random; they had just talked about maybe bringing his sister (if it is indeed her) to the Abyss, which led him to think back on how he himself ended up and began living there, eventually founding a (secret) nation/city (can't remember what they called it in past chapters).

What would have been random is if this flashback/backstory came while fighting the Soul Dragon for instance

@Lady.Tistla I agree that it isnt completely random because of that, but I was more talking about how they just decided 73 chapters in that they were going to finally show us the time we skipped right at the start

Yea, they could've never skipped it at all. Throwing it in right now especially when we're this deep into it, sucks. We want continuance not flashbacks that should've already been taken care of. It's poor placement
