Im gonna be honest... I dont like any of the covers. Especially since you said he isn't even that young of a child, since he looks so young in the cover i'm going to assume that he is that young. I already don't go for books that have an ai generated cover, since i assume theyre just quickly made ai slop that don't actually have any effort put into them.
Firstly, how do you even plan on publishing it? Do you even have any plans on profitting off of this book? I'm assuming you're not going to actually make a physical copy of it, since its expensive.
The thing is none of the covers are particularly eye-catching at all. Say with manga, since we are on a manga website, when you see an eye-catching cover you'll click on the manga to read it right? Yeah that doesn't happen in your case. It's just a big old text and some creepy forest in the background, do you know how many more other books i could read with that same exact cover? In manga terms, its like seeing solo levelling copies 10 times in a row.
I dont want to discourage you, especially since youre a homeschooled highschooler, so do whatever you want and what you like. If you're going to continue doing something like this, then do it without anybodys input. Do it because you want to. Just have fun if youre not going to make any money out of it, im just saying all of this in the case you actually want to make money.
