@YalnizimDosti Well basically, Taerim seems to have an abusive relationship with his brother. This could possibly include degrading and making him feel not worthy of any love. (previous chapter) So, he projected that feeling on Ijeong to vent or to feel better thinking Ijeong was going to comply without question and view him like all of his other partners before. Instead he hesitated and showed love towards Taerim, something he was conditioned into not deserving but Ijeong thinks the exact opposite and thinks Taerim deserves affection (which was why he left and was waiting outside in hopes Taerim would go look/get him) Then Ijeong explains that he does love Taerim but he has to love and heal himself before their relationship moves forward. Then the distancing etc etc

@YalnizimDosti Oh and the last panels are Taerim thinking about how he is essentially a lost cause that needed helping but ultimately failing (ie. "You really did all you could.")
