It's confusing me as to why he thinks it would be better to return to that dirty man just because of that woman, and he has a clear enough memory that regardless the man intends to sell him off, so I don't get it. Like, he's not realizing that this is a case of pick-your-poison, and he's trying to go back to the one that will skin him alive.
Unpopular Opinion: it's not just stories and pictures. Lots of people need a moral compass.
