I think this story was more about regret and loss and that's why it concluded like that. I would have liked to see a bit more but I think it leaves a good message to us. And honeslty I don't think it was rushed if this was always gonna end like this. We got a lot of character building from Iijima since the beginning and I think it's why the story's so good. They dont become a couple right at the start but their relationship slowly progress, making us more into it when the conclusion comes. I honestly cried during theses last chapters like my heart was stung a lot bur fu** this was so peak I'm glad I read this. (too bad we didnt get a bit more)
