why do bl creators always make rapist attractive? like i'll never understand if you want a character hated why make them look good? obviously not saying i like ross because he's hot or you can't hate a attractive character butit's only natural humans are going to find a attractive character, well, attractive. yk what i mean? idk how to explain it it's like if a character is a horrible person i want to hate every part of them looks included and i feel majority of people would feel the same but again like i said "it's only natural humans are going to find attractive people well, attractive." so why make then attractive? it's like the same with stalkers i hate how they get romanticized or, again, look attractive. maybe i just sound like a creep but i promise im not i just suck at wording my opinion

@zyzy I don't think Ross is drawn attractive to romanticise him being an ass****. Most of the important characters are rather attractive and also Jake, so if you criticise Ross looking handsome you have to criticise Jake looking handsome too because he's a gangster and stuff so it's romanticising criminality, no? Shin and Grens are dawn attractive too but they've done illegal and bad things too... I think you can say that the important characters are drawn attractive but just all of them are assh****. Most of the characters drawn 'ugly' here are the ones without much importance or without much power like the guy who saw Jake sucking off Shin and was later shot in the a** or maybe also Shins neighbour/friend.
@zyzy It all boils down to don't judge a book by it's cover. The man may be attractive but he's a lowlife scum with money who paid to look that way. Look at Shin's informant friend. He's not attractive but he'd do anything for his friend. When I was young a handsome boy used to follow me and I didn't know him and thaught he was harmless. When a maintenance man at my apartments grabbed me and pulled me into his apartment and was trying to tie me up the boy burst in and saved me. I was only 13 but I still remember what that man looks like. To be honest he wasn't bad looking at all. I became friends with the boy who saved me. A week later that handsome boy tried to 🍇 me but luckily I managed a knee to his groin and kicked him again when he went to his knees and got away. With all that said, its true in real life too. Good looking people can be terrible people as well. I learned that looks aren't everything and many times I learned that the hard way in a lot of relationships. Don't judge a book by it's cover. The manga creators are just mimicking real life in the story. That's all. Not all the unattractive people are bad and not all the pretty people are good.
