it doesn't matter, even as a joke is the worst one can be! You can't just say such sh** publicly like that. Every person is different, and each one of them will take your words differently, and to avoid any misunderstandings usually people using more ethical words like "Dear translator, I'm very thankful for your time and effort" or better - you don't say anything at all! I'm sure you've heard, there's a saying "golden silence", that's exactly the good example to use it.
When you grow up you'll understand and experience more things, good and bad, and you'll see how people should be treated. But before that - just a life advice: always treat people the same way you'd want them to treat you! Before you want to give your feedback on something to someone, first put yourself in their shoes and speak as you'd speak to yourself. As for you - you just one person who gave the review about the chapter, but for the translator - you're one among hundreds or thousands. I bet you wouldn't want to be in the position where hundreds of people would give you bad feedbacks. Not a lot of people would. So before you want to say something, at least think a little please
