i hate to type this buuut... i give the King a pass on his black flag behavior. The backstories do in fact matter. I was one of the people who thought "there's no way this freak of a character is redeemeable" but his character is a victim and product of neglect from his parents, abuse from his siblings, and grooming from Sam. Sam is also a victim. This is a grey area BL for me. I can't tell who the villain is anymore. Geon or Sam? They're both f-ucked up.
