yeah he will meet an old guy stranger who has feelings with his mother. But the thing is his parents went separate ways after his disappearance. He didn't want to show himself because he saw his mother is happy and his father is probably happy too so he didn't want to spoil their happiness. He also found his true happiness to the ML and Tongtong.
