@Nameless hmm I can't remember much but snow flower was a meteorite a certain clan or group worship or own. And that clan got massacre by mu won's cousin or whatever and the meteorite absorbed the clans resentment causing it to pretty much have a soul
@Nameless Yes, Snow Flower was forged by Mu-Won from the meteorite that was worshipped by a tribe in the mountains. That guy (Jo Un-Kyung) went to the village and killed all the inhabitants of the village and took all virgins in the tribe to a sacrificial site, where he killed them and bathed in their blood. Through this ritual of bathing in virgins' blood he obtained some kind of evil technique he used prior to the Purgatory Demon Technique or now in combination with. The meteorite, like stated in the previous comment, absorbed the resentment of the killed villagers and especially the tribe matriarch, that was used as the final piece in the ritual. I believe that is the woman we see in the beginning and behind Mu-Won as the manifestation of his aura and also in the flashback where she gets dragged by her hair. Jo Un-Kyung is also the son of one of the four generals of the Northern Heavenly sect, that was like an older brother to him and could be, like you said considered his cousin. Mu-Won first though that Un-Kyungs father was the one that massacred the tribe but as he defeated that guy he asked him and he said it wasn't him and so he realized it was Jo Un-Kyung. Hope that cleared everything up.
@Nameless the priestess died  and her soul merged ith the meteor, jin used the meteor to make his sword.
